Chichi Luna

Site migration, email migration, WordPress plugin updates & restoring online ordering

Moving to a Better Foundation

The project started with a full site migration — moving Chichi Luna to a new hosting environment cleanly and without disruption to visitors or search rankings. Done right, migrations are invisible to everyone except the business owner, who suddenly has a faster, more stable site to build on.

Email Migration & Goodbye to the Google Drama

Email was a source of real stress. Between the domain setup, Google Workspace configuration, and the back-and-forth that comes with migrating accounts, it had become a lingering headache. We worked through it methodically — getting everything properly configured, accounts moved over, and confirmed working — so that chapter could finally be closed.

WordPress Plugin Updates

Outdated plugins are one of the most common sources of security vulnerabilities and broken functionality. I audited and updated the plugin stack, resolving conflicts and ensuring everything was running on current, supported versions.

Fixing Online Ordering & Order Notifications

Customers weren’t able to complete orders, and when they did, notifications weren’t getting through — a serious problem for any business that depends on online sales. I tracked down the root causes, resolved the issues, and confirmed that both the ordering flow and notification system were working reliably before signing off.

Next Up: Site Redesign

With the technical foundation solid and the operational headaches behind us, the next step is a full redesign — giving Chichi Luna a site that matches the quality and care that goes into everything they do.
