My Vision
To bring real expertise and genuine care to every project — to be honest with clients, work in their corner, code to the highest standards, and help them reach their own definition of success.
My Values
Quality work, clear communication, and straight answers — that’s my baseline. I give you my honest assessment, not a sales pitch. I’m a problem solver who can spot an issue, explain the options, and help you make a confident, informed decision. I make hard things easy to understand, and I genuinely enjoy the work.
“Great things are done by a series of small things brought together.”
— Vincent van Gogh
With over 20 years of experience in web design and development, I love collaborating with clients to understand their situation, their goals, and what’s standing in the way. I work with key stakeholders to uncover what users actually need, then find the solution that balances those needs with the company’s objectives.
I’ve worked with start-ups, news outlets, Fortune 500 companies, and businesses in a wide variety of industries — including information technology, healthcare, pharmaceutical, finance, education, manufacturing, executive search, beauty, real estate, and more.
My background spans front-end and back-end development, so I can take a project from initial concept all the way through to launch — and beyond.
Since 2025
In early 2025, I decided to return to my roots — to work more directly with clients and have a greater hand in the work I love. After more than 11 years as Lead Developer, Web Design and Development Manager, and then Director of Website Design and Development at a digital marketing and rev ops agency, I opened my own company, Sitegy.
As the owner of Sitegy, I help clients strategize, design, develop, optimize, and drive traffic to their websites. I also partner with agencies and in-house teams as a trusted development resource — available for overflow work, complex WordPress or HubSpot builds, and ongoing support.
I make hard concepts easy to understand, explain the available options with honest pros and cons, and give straightforward guidance with my clients’ best interests in mind. I also use AI-assisted tools where they add real value — accelerating prototyping, code generation, and content brainstorming — so projects move faster without cutting corners. My approachability and positive attitude have helped me build long-term working relationships with many of my clients.
2021 to 2025
In September of 2021, Scholes Marketing was sold. In September 2024 the company re-branded as ResultsIQ. Under the leadership of its new owner, Oscar Jaramillo, ResultsIQ quickly expanded to an international team. Vikki was promoted to the Director of Web Design and Development. During her 11+ years with the company, Vikki enjoyed working with a very talented team of professionals, and wonderful clients in a wide variety of industries.
2013 to 2021
Vikki was hired by Jeff Scholes, the founder of Scholes Marketing, in November 2013. What started off as a small contracting role grew into a lead developer role. As the company grew, she went on to become the Head of Web Design and Development. Vikki worked with a small dynamic team of professionals producing high quality websites, landing pages, and email campaigns for their clients. She specialized in both Wordpress and HubSpot custom theme development.
She has maintained her HubSpot certifications for design and developer annually to stay current with the evolving HubSpot ecosystem — the COS (2013) featured a drag and drop builder, the CMS (2017) offered greater flexibility for developers to create truly custom themes and improved the content editing experience for content editors, and now Content Hub (as of 2024) which leverages AI for content creation, content management across various formats, and content distribution to social media and email marketing.
2001 to 2013
Vikki graduated at the top of her class earning a degree in Website Design and Development at Champlain College with a perfect 4.0 GPA. After graduation, she started her own web design business, building websites for small businesses. It wasn't long before she was hired as the main web developer at a small web design agency. There she put her skills to work building e-commerce websites using X-Cart.
She was then hired by Wellness Partners, LLC. to upgrade their custom built content management system (CMS) and to manage their main website property (seekwellness.com). SeekWellness was a large scale content based website providing health information on a variety of topics, and selling products online. Along with all of the website design and development tasks required to maintain the website, she also managed their Google AdSense account, optimizing ad placement, improving page design, and implementing various ad types across article channel to monetize their content. Aside from working on the main web property, Vikki also performed web design and development work for Wellness Partners clients. The owner of Wellness Partners, Lenore Howe, retired and decided to shut down her company.
During this time, Vikki continued to do contract work for other companies, including Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and Virual Iron (a company that sold proprietary software for virtualization and management of a virtual infrastructure). After Virtual Iron was acquired by Oracle, a former colleague put her in touch with Jeff Scholes, the founder of Scholes Marketing.
